The master plan and statutory plan for Meir Medical Center establish a long-term framework for the development of the Sharon region’s main hospital through 2050, responding to projected population growth and changing healthcare needs. The plan nearly doubles inpatient capacity and expands rehabilitation, geriatric and mental health services. The campus is reorganized around a new medical core and a central landscaped garden, while outdated buildings are renewed or replaced to support a flexible, phased development strategy.
